We've often wondered exactly who Barack Obama was during his years in college. The president has kept all documents relating to this period under lock and key, so we don't have much to go on. But now, a courageous college friend of Obama's has stepped forward with shocking testimony. The president, this man says, was a "pure Marxist socialist."
His name is Dr. John C. Drew. He attended Occidental College at the same time as Obama and hung around in the same political circles. At the time Drew was a Marxist, though he would later become a Republican during the 1980s. Drew says while he occasionally doubted Marxism, Obama was convinced there would actually be a revolution of the underclass that would overthrow the government. During debates, Obama would defend Marxism very insistently. Drew also describes the young Obama as something of a metrosexual. Obama and his roommate were always dressed impeccably and would cruise around in a BMW. To this day, Drew still has no idea where that kind of money came from.
Let's allow Drew to speak for himself. Here are some mind-blowing quotes from his interview with Breitbart TV:
"My most vivid memory is how insistent he was on arguing a Marxist-Leninist point of view."
"He made a very principled, dedicated, impassioned argument that a real revolution was coming and in a sense we should all get onboard and prepare ourselves physically and emotionally for that revolution."
"He definitely saw America as the enemy. He believed that the ruling elite had rigged our economic system so that it caused people to be poor, and that it was immoral and it was wrong. And the only way you could tip things back so that we all could enjoy a more prosperous lifestyle was to redistribute the wealth."
"My sense of him is that he was a pure Marxist socialist."
"I think he's still a socialist."
