Barack Obama's pay czar, Kenneth Feinberg, is one of the most powerful men in America. The president has given him the authority to regulate executive pay and, if necessary, even "claw back" money that's already been earned. Now, Feinberg is saying that he is ready to start exercising that second power. "I have said publicly I am reluctant to exercise that authority, except in the most egregious cases, whatever that means," Feinberg said. False humility aside, he acknowledged he could start clawing back executive pay within 45 days.
Elsewhere Feinberg said that his jurisdiction is restricted and just a "blip" on the radar. The truth is that Feinberg is one of the most powerful men in America and Barack Obama's most dangerous czar. No American has ever been given the authority to force someone to give up money they already earned to the government.
