Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, one of Hillary Clinton's closest friends and supporters, and US Rep. Jason Altmire, D-Pa., have managed to pull off a mission impossible. They flew back 53 Haitian orphans to a hospital in Pittsburgh.
Of course, there is nothing wrong with Rendell wanting to help out. But how did Rendell get priority to go? Could it be because he's so close with Barack Obama's secretary of state Hillary Clinton?
Even CNN's Anderson Cooper is raising questions: How could a "Democratic governor" accomplish the evacuation of healthy children to the U.S. when so many injured and dying people were suffering in Port-Au-Prince?
